Dear Students and Graduates of the Nutrition Academy,


After this week, I will be away for two months travelling and speaking. This means for the next two months, our monthly calls will be interview recordings.  I hope you enjoy these interesting interviews! I would also like for you to consider how important your knowledge is and how important it will be in the very near future.


During my absence, I am traveling to speak at Dubai Active and The Global Wellness Summit in Scotland. Part of the purpose of this travel is to get The Nutrition Academy out to the world.


There is a revolution happening and there will be a need for more functional nutrition consultants and nutrition education that is not financed by big food and big agriculture.  Doctors and other health practitioners will need my graduates and those well-versed in changing people’s diet and lifestyle.


Ultra-processed foods are the number one killer in the world far above smoking ever was. The World Health Organisation predicts that by 2048 90% of the world population will die from a chronic disease.


Chronic disease is preventable, with clean real foods and lifestyle, including movement, sunshine, light (circadian health), grounding, sleep, and connection.

I’d also love you to listen to Joe Rogan’s interview Caley and Casey Means, authors of Good Energy, it is episode 2210.  


When Caley and Casey talk about the government regulatory agencies in the USA, I want you to think about the Australian government agencies.  The TGA, APVMA and FSANZ are all captured by industry, and their stamps of approval have the ability to poison anyone who consumes the food they sanction to grow in a cloud of chemicals and dubious additives put into the food supply.


Once again you will see that being a student and/or graduate of The Nutrition Academy is very important to change the trajectory of our children and adult health, whether it is for your family or your community.  The government is not going to change so it is up to us to make the difference. I’m on a mission and I’d love you with me.


Just recently Sheridan Austin (nee Williamson), who worked for me for 6 years and now has an incredible product called Mothers Blend which is based on only food has been asked by the TGA to take down 900 reviews from Google and the TGA believes that her ‘only food’ product of fermented foods, liver, green stevia herb and reds does not fall under FSANZ but rather TGA jurisdiction. To be TGA listed brings in more regulation, and more costs.


Our regulatory bodies are also industry funded.  For example, APVMA takes a fee from industry to register the product, a fee annually is charged, and a percentage is taken by APVMA on all sales of the product they have registered.  They have a multi-billion-dollar budget.  Of course, TGA and FSANZ also have industry cash input.


Most people think that these are government funded agencies but in fact they are industry funded. When I asked the APVMA if they were going to reduce the number of products registered with the active ingredient glyphosate due to the IARC probable cancer warning, their silence said it all and their lack of action spoke louder than their silence. There are 596 registered products in Australia with glyphosate and over 700 in the US.  And every time the product is sold that they have registered they get paid.  


This number has not reduced despite nearly 10 years passing since the cancer warning.  The real dangers of glyphosate continue to be revealed, including its endocrine disrupting properties and antibiotic patent.


This knowledge is valuable and the more that you know the more that you may just refuse to support the industries that are killing our children, adults, animals and planet.  


Once you know, you can’t not know.  Every time you make a purchase, you are voting with your wallet, but to make a difference, education must come first.
